GRACE Girls Program
The Growth, Readiness and Creating Empowerment (GRACE) is an 'Inspired HPGE' program at Northlakes High School. It is through this program we target HPGE girls in the social/ emotional domain and make a real difference in the lives of the girls who are selected to be part of the GRACE program. It is our belief that the key values of the GRACE Program reflect the characteristics of strong women in society and that girls need to be given an opportunity to develop and create empowerment.
BETTA Boys Program
The Boys' Education Transition To Adults is a sponsored program by Gorokan-Kanwal Lions Club to support an identified need in male education here at Northlakes High School. The program is aimed to combat disengagement and build a sense of pride, aspiration and confidence in what their future holds. It is through this program that we hope to make a real difference in the lives of the boys who are selected to be part of the BETTA program.
Northlakes Dance Company
The Northlakes High School Dance Company is open for students in all year groups to audition. Students rehearse each week in preparation for Dance Festivals, Eisteddfods and other key state-wide performance opportunities such as Star Struck and School Spectacular. Dance students learn to create, perform, and evaluate dance as both an artform and a form of expression.
Duke of Edinburgh's Award Program
The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award (Duke of Ed) is a leading global youth development framework, providing opportunities for young Australians aged 14-24 to fulfil their personal passions and ambitions, and to connect with other people in their community. It offers Bronze, Silver, and Gold levels to help young people gain confidence, resilience, and life skills.
