The Department of Education requires a minimum of 85% attendance.
Attendance concerns will be addressed by the school by one of the following:
- a phone call or a letter of concern may be sent.
- parents/caregivers may be called to the school for an interview.
- Home School Liaison Officer (HSLO) may be called in to investigate and/or visit the home where attendance is a problem.
- for students in receipt of Youth Allowance, an Education Liaison Officer from Centrelink may investigate.
