Assessment
Each year is given a research assessment (Task 1) each semester worth 40%. A copy of these assignments can be found on the Google classrooms. The Task 1 for History is the making of an artefact for our HSIE museum accompanied by a written component. For Geography Task 1 students will be provided with a computer lesson to assist in their research, but the students are required to complete the assignment in their own time. Computers are available in the school library during breaks.
Task 2 is a topic and skills test worth 40%. A bookmark and AVID participation mark makes up the remaining 20%
