Regular attendance at is important for students to reach their potential. Students should endeavour to be at school on time, every day.
Lessons start at 8:12am and students are expected to be onsite at 8:00am. If students are late, the school is required to record the reason. This ensures that students are only absent/late from school when they are sick or have another legitimate reason for missing school.
If a student arrives to school late, they should:
- Report to the front office student window, sign in and provide a note explaining their lateness.
- Receive a late slip.
- Show their late slip to the classroom teacher on arriving to class.
If a note is not provided when a student arrives late, an SMS message will be sent notifying the parent/caregiver that the student was late to school and the parent should reposnd with a reason.
