Northlakes High School has a proud history of hosting students from overseas through a homestay and school experience program. We have been approached this year to host a visit by Samcheok Korean students. We are hosting 30 students all aged around 13/14 years. The Korean students, while at school, will participate in special English classes and join some normal classes to experience an Australian school.
The students all seemed very excited for their first day at school, and were shown around. Here we have Mr McKinnon showing them the finer skills of AFL. During the week they will be visiting the Reptile Park, and Saturday they will have a full day excursion organised to Port Stephens.
We hope both the exchange students and their host families enjoy their time together.
